Stretch Goal #1 - Unlocked

Good Day Campers, 

So glad to be sharing more happy news with you especially considering the looming toothy death monsters that are sharing the bush with us. 

Now this is exciting news. The first of what I hope is many stretch goals that I know we are going to unlock. 

The updated survival cache. Good, but I think we are going to need a few more supplies if we are going to survive the night. 

NEXT STRETCH GOAL: 

Up next some more endevour tiles: Barren mine shafts. These rather perilous locations offer great rewards for those campers will to risk the task.

Still no correct guesses on our weekly reveal. Maybe you don't want to know what is coming, but denying it's coming isn't going to stop it... 

It's so close now, I can feel it.

Drop Bears is FUNDED!

FULLY FUNDED

So Drop Bear is now fully funded and this once idea is now going to become a fully-fledged board game on tabletops around the world. So for the chance to do this, I thank you all.

Now, as promised if we fund within the time frame all the backers would receive a grisly first player token miniature. It has now been added to all copies of the Core set pledged for during the KS campaign.
 

This token will be available as an optional add-on during the pledge manager and then will become part of Platypus Industries Direct only selection.

STRETCH GOALS

So now we are funded it’s time for everyone’s favourite part of the journey, Stretch goals! I know I’m excited, there are some very horrifying things to unleash.
So let’s focus on the first one (which is so close to unlocking already). The “survival guide” will give Campers a free re-roll of dice, this helps mitigate a bit of the chaos that can happen to our campers.

For those that wanted to see a painted Drop Bear, here is one done by a local reviewer/painter. Thanks Jules.

48hr Progress report

Good evening campers, 

Wow, what a day! So many new faces, anyone would think you're all keen to go running aimlessly into the drop bear infested bushland. 

So, this is the current standing of the campaign. I like to keep you all update with how things are going.

FUNDING GOAL - "HANDY" BONUS

So, the 72 hour funding goal, now technically this isn't going to be reached in time. But I also think I made it a little unfair by not having this goal available when the project launched, so how about we make it a little longer, 96 hours has a nice ring to it. 

So, $85,900, 96hr = get grisly prize. 

So continued support is needed. 

• Sharing social media posts. 
• Start/continued conversations.

Come on, I have so many cool things to share! I've been keeping it all secret for so long!

WHAT IS LURKING?

Has anyone got any guesses what this is? I would love to hear some wild guesses.

Welcome campers one and all, I know you have seen and heard things about these fearsome Drop Bears, the fearsome reputation is not to be underestimated, but I am here to reassure you that we can all survive this camping adventure if we all just stick together.

Aim:

To run a clean and easy campaign. As many of you already know Platypus Industrie seeks to keep the campaign concise & avoid any complications.

To this effect:

• Platypus Industries believes top quality components from the START and thus the core set (even without stretch goals) is loaded with many “upgrades” other companies would include as stretch goals.
• Stretch goals, will upgrade & be included in the core set.
• Artwork & Miniatures for the core set is fully completed - some stretch goal art may be required (we certainly hope it will be needed).
• No Kickstarter Exclusive Content, EVERYONE should get our best efforts.
• Promo content will always be available directly via the Platypus Industries website. 

The plan so far:

• All stretch goals have been considered and tightly budgeted. But don’t worry we didn’t skimp on the cool stuff ;)
• With a very well-established working relationship with our manufacturing partner HJM. This has allowed us to already begin fine-tuning the production stage of the project.
• Logistics planning; we have been preemptively working with established logistical partners around the globe in preparation for the difficult task that is fulfilment.
  

Communication:

• We (Platypus Industries) will endeavour to be prompt with our responses to any questions or concerns you may have during and after the KS campaign.
  There is a array of handy questions and answers already available via the Kickstart campaigns FAQ.
• Our team is operating from a Melbourne, Australia (GMT+10 AEST) time zone, so there are going to be times when the team is less available or completely unavailable. This is unavoidable due to the fact we are a very small team.
• Our limitations: We are a small team of humans, so please understand we do have families, work & lives outside the campaign. Despite our dedication to the project, there may be times of unavailability by members of the team. We simply ask for your patience, we will get to you. If you feel like you have been missed, a gentle reminder is not unwelcome.
• Have you spotted an error, or issue or are you seeking some clarification on a particular subject? Please contact us & we'll endeavour to have it fixed as quickly as possible.

STRETCH GOALS 

The funding goal is closing in very quickly so, I thought I'd quickly mention the stretch goals (we'll go into detail with these as they unlock. So once the intial goal is reached it will be time to play the hutner as we chase down the stretch goals and add more goodies to 

the already awesome Drop Bears core set.
