There have been a few questions repeatedly popping up in my inboxes and messages. So, here is some clarity for each of the backer kit types.
Backers Your pledge should be easily accessible via your backer kit account or through the link sent to you recently directly from Backerkit.
Haven't you received your email? Make sure you check the right email address (The one attached to your backer kit account) Reach out to me with your backer details and I can get it resent to you.

Late Backer
For the late Backers, I have a few steps to get you sorted. This is all done via the desktop site. So far I've seen only issues arising with the mobile site.

Preorders
Sadly the only viable solution provided by the folks at Backerkit is for our preordering campers is to create an additional new order. If you could include your previous orders order number in your new order I will endeavour to make sure that any physical products are bundled together for shipping.

Convention I've been offered a position at an upcoming convention here in Australia (Playcon2024). It's a great opportunity and I'd planned on attending but I also wanted to chat with you as my backers about having (possibly) Drop Bears available there for sale to the public. I know this can be a contentious issue with backers, so I wanted to gauge how you all felt about it. before making any crazy decisions. Whichever way the community swings I'm happy to uphold. I've been a backer enough to know that there isn't an answer that will make everyone happy. But as always I wanted to be 100% transparent about what is happening. The stock would have to arrive in time of course, which is another thing I'm all over to see if that's possible :/ I'm still not 100% sure I'll be there. There is a lot of logistics to figure out. But one step at a time.

All Ratcatcher products will ship alongside the Drop Bears fulfilment. By bundling them together, we're saving both time and money on logistics.
I had a few backers inquiring as to whether they could get hold of the promo rat - Swag Rat. There are a few logistics contains, but the main reason is that I made the call to make him a con exclusive, and I will stick to my guns on that. As is the norm with the con exclusives they will be available online for the week following a convention attended by Platypus Industries.
The Ratcatcher only choice A few Ratcatcher fans wanted to avoid the risk of drop bears (a safe choice for sure) So here is a pure rodent-infested choice just for you. This selection is already available via Backerkit.

UPDATE #43 - The Plan

Project Status Production is 100% complete. Packing is 100% completed Nothing left but to get a move on!
All the games and expansions are packed in bubble wrap and corner protectors as is standard with Platypus Industries products. I want to make sure it's looking in top-notch condition.
Time to execute "the plan" campers! It's the fulfilment stage of the project, and for this stage of things, there has been a plan to get it done and get it done at lower costs than what was originally quoted to me. Even then, I need your help folks. As mentioned in the previous update the fulfilment plan has been totally reshuffled with new partners locked in for each region. This has been one part of the solution as I've also been pulling favours and leaning on friendships I've made along the way to fulfil my commitment to getting this project delivered. But back to the important stuff, So with stock packed and secured, freight organising underway and fulfilment and distribution secured at each regional hub the financial plan is clear. so with that puzzle put together we can move forward with getting the financials in line to get the job done.
So let's get on with the goal.
Financially The project faces a significant challenge in its final stage and requires your assistance. Financial constraints have presented an obstacle that must be overcome to ensure the timely delivery of your pledge. Therefore, I'm reaching out to request additional funds totalling $50,000 AUD ($32,000 USD approx).
I totally understand that this is a massive request, and I assure you that the decision to ask for additional funds has not been made lightly. However, it's essential for the successful fulfilment of the project, and I'm committed to doing everything in my power to achieve this goal.
So how can I help, you ask? Additional funds will be raised using the Backerkit pledge manager system. Each camper will receive rewards based on the additional support given during this period. In addition to this Campers will be able to add to their existing pledges I know there have been many asking now that the final images have been shared)

How long will this funding period last? 2 weeks is the goal. This will give everyone time to get involved. This timeframe will also allow me to complete all the paperwork and get the first stage started (as long as everything is tracking well).

The unlock period is for a limited 2 weeks. Payments will be charged after the two weeks.
All items selected and paid for previously will remain locked and unchanged.
Add additional items. Additional purchases will help the project reach that crucial goal. These additional items will ship as one with your original purchases. Additional purchases will only be charged should we reach the goal.

Reward System Explanation
The reward system operates on a tiered structure, where each contribution tier grants access not only to its specific reward but also includes all content from lower tiers, forming a comprehensive digital bundle.
For instance, a $30 contribution not only unlocks The Roleplaying Supplement but also includes The Ratcatcher Artcards, Digital Backgrounds, and Bookmarks.
All rewards are already completed and available for download once the new funding period has ended (2 weeks). They will be promptly dispatched upon the completion of the funding stage to ensure efficient delivery to all the supporting Campers.

What happens if funds aren't raised? Answer: It is currently outside the financial realm of possibility for me to fulfil the campaign without camper assistance. So the only alternative option is a slow grind of investing very limited funds into small shipping batches. This could take an indeterminable amount of time to complete.
What if I don't add additional funds? Answer: I will endeavour to make sure all campers get their pledges promptly, this is regardless of additional support. In saying this, the fulfilment process is an all-or-nothing process and I would greatly appreciate all the community chipping in so that all campers can benefit.
Can I still receive my pledge if I can't contribute additional funds? Answer: Absolutely! Your initial pledge is appreciated and will be fulfilled regardless of additional contributions. I totally understand that not everyone can contribute more, and rest assured I am grateful for your support at any level. In saying this, the fulfilment process is an all-or-nothing process and I would greatly appreciate all the community chipping in so that all campers can benefit. Every camper will receive their pledge in due time.
How will the new content be delivered, and when can we expect it?Answer: The new content will be included as part of your pledge rewards and will be available for download once the Backerkit is locked down again. Immediately after the pledge manager is locked down again. All the relevant digital files will be delivered directly to any/all supporting campers via their linked email address.
What steps are being taken to prevent future delays? Answer: I'm actively working with our manufacturing and fulfilment partners to streamline the fulfilment process and minimize any future delays. All the relevant paperwork has been submitted, repacked bundles have been made to assist with the speed of fulfilment. All is as ready and prepared as it can be.
How can I stay updated on the progress of the project? Answer: The same as always, here on Kickstarter. I'm also available on the Platypus Industries Discord or via email as always. So, feel free to reach out to us directly with any questions or concerns.
What occurs with any excess funds? Additional contributions will be thoughtfully utilised to maximize the fulfilment of the project excess funds may also lead to further support material becoming available (it's the least I could do!).

I know it's been a long and dark journey through the Drop Bear-infested bush. And although I ask a lot of you all, I know our journey now has renewed hope. Hello again Campers,
I know it's been to long, I am just not one for updates with no content or progress to report and it's been a bit lack lustre in the progress department around here of late. Here is an update regardless, as there has been some progress, just nothing revolutionary, yet.
First up, I want give a more in depth breakdown on the financial challenges our campaign is currently facing. Several factors have contributed to these issues:
Continued Delays: Extended campaign deadlines have resulted in ongoing costs, gradually depleting our resources.
Currency Depreciation: The decline in the Australian dollar's value has worsened our financial situation.
Additional Manufacturing Costs: Unforeseen expenses like new moulds and reprints have inflated manufacturing expenses beyond initial estimates. An overall increase of close to 5k
Last-Minute Shipping Surge: Recently, our shipping partner unexpectedly raised costs by nearly 300%, totalling approximately AUD 166K, far surpassing our original projections of around 60K.
Freight has increased from an estimated 3-4k to now 18-20k.
As Frustrating as these factors are (and I assure you I find them frustrating) these are not factors within my control. The original budgets made allowances for some variances and increases. As you can see, the cost increases to major elements of the fulfilment over the delayed period have far exceeded the forecasted values.
I had a whole range of planes to work with these changes and cost increases. Most didn't prove to be any more cost effective or offer any advantage. So far I have secured a few new direct partnerships for regional distribution but nothing that completes the entire fulfilment. I have not managed to get a whole delivery change to work at this time. I have a few more options that I'm continuing to explore.
It is becoming more apparent that additional funds are more than likely going to be required to fulfil this campaign. I know this is not ideal and I will endeavour to make any contributions voluntary and as minimal as possible. I just want to be 100% on what and how things are getting done before I can give further details on that front. More details regarding anything pertaining to additional funds will be in the next update. A full Q&A will be included. So if you have any questions let me know, they are likely questions many campers have.
I'm not going to lie, this situation is really stressful. Continual working and failing to find solutions for this predicament have not been easy. Delivering the continued news of delays and unknowns is also difficult to do. I have found myself having to take some breaks away from the project to clear my head (which I am not usually one to do). So please excuse some delays in replies to messages and comments. Even through the additional stress and issues faced by the project I am committed to the fulfilment of the Drop Bears kickstarter in its entirety. I have really been appreciating the kindness and patients from you fine campers, your kind comments and messages defiantly makes the whole situation much easier to bear.
What I've been working on... So in the interim, besides solving the main issue, I have been working on some digital only content that I plan on releasing as part of this whole fulfilment process. How exactly they are going to be accessed has not been finalised. I'm just very excited to be working on some cool Drop Bear stuff for you all.
So here is a quick look at what has been finished. (there area a few other cool bits, but i'll keep a few of those under my acubra for a later update) If you happen to have any other great ideas, I'm all ears.

I want to express my sincere apologies for the challenges and delays we are facing, and I assure you that I am actively working towards finding viable solutions.
Financial Constraints Impacting Project Progress:
Regrettably, the project has hit a significant roadblock due to financial constraints. The increasing expenses and unexpected delays have resulted in depleted project funds, putting the fulfilment of the project in jeopardy. As a responsible project creator, I want to be transparent about the situation we are facing.
Currently, the project is stuck post-freight, and upon completion of manufacturing, it will be necessary to enter a paused state. The stock will remain with our manufacturing partner while I actively seek solutions. 1. Do I get a copy of the PnP?
Absolutely! If your order includes a physical copy of the game or an expansion, consider the Print and Play version yours to explore and enjoy.
And of course, those campers who backed and ordered the Print and Play-only options will get all the relative files.
2. How will I receive the files?
I've streamlined the process for you. Expect the files to glide into your inbox via the BackerKit system, neatly packed in an email link associated with your BackerKit account.
3. What is included in the PnP Files?
Prepare for a treasure trove! The files encompass the relevant rulebook and come in both large and small file sizes. It's your passport to an early encounter with the Aussie horrors that await.
4. Can I still get a copy if I didn't order it?
You sure can, mates! Whether you missed out or want an extra dose of Drop Bears joy, you can order the Print and Play version either now via the BackerKit system or later through the Platypus Industries website.
5. Instructions.
