Yet another stretch goal down. Well done campers. and now you have the thicker more luxurious tiles in the game to show for your hard work.

What's next? 

A very exciting Stretch goal is next, well if you are excited by flesh tearing monsters that is. The next stretch goal unlock will see a new Drop Bear - "Howler" it will be added to the core set. See I told you to keep your eyes open for threats in the trees. 

Are there even more after this stretch goal? 

Yes, the adventure continues deeper and deeper into the bush and I'm sure there is a great mixture of treasures and terrors.

Stretch Goal Unlock #4

Good to see you all again (well most of you at least) so soon again. So here is the first component upgrade, snazzy dice. If you are familiar with Ratcatcher these dice will mimic the frosted finish those dice have. This time in a dark blue/purple colouration and red pips (drop bear text).

Sadly at this time, I cannot guarantee how lucky these dice will be, but I'll do my best.

As my daughters would say it's time to make things "chonky". Having the heavier tiles makes the game feel really luxurious as well as making the tile sit really nicely when arranged on the tabletop. I know you'll all really enjoy this upgrade.

Stretch Goal Unlocked #3

Well hello, again campers. Let me introduce you to a new face in the crowd. The "Garbo" camper. This fella is a handy one to have as he has a mind for recycling and reusing. Cleverly used this camper can allow the group to get the maximum out of the most useful items they find.

What do you think his prospects of survival are like with the choice of weapon?

So what is next?

With our first batch of stretch goals completed it time to reveal the next batch of potential goodies... I have some good news and bad. I think I heard something, it looks like there might be more of those beasts lurking nearby. 

With more and more stretch goals unlocked and more coming this is going to get even more exciting over the next few days. So please continue to share the Drop Bears images, artwork, miniatures and information as it help us reach all these great stretch goals and even more.

Stretch Goal #2 - Unlocked

Hello Campers, Glad to see so many of you still intact.

So here we are again, this time with some treasure from nature. Location tiles are the giver and takers of the camper’s face. Early game can be harsh as you race to explore your surroundings. Late game they will help provide the much-needed survival points and bonuses that just might get you through until dawn.

So here are some new risk and reward style location tiles. I think I also mentioned it was an endevour tile in the last update (sorry). You will never say no to a search location tile in the right place at the right time. 

Are there more stretch goals after this one? 

Yes, there is still plenty wonders & terrors left in the Australian bush.  

So glad to be unlocking more content and I just know your going to love some of the next stretch goals to come. But first let's add a new camper to out roster.

WEEK ONE REVEAL - OL'BRUCE EXPANSION 

Congratulations, with this expansion you have made life even more miserable for yourselves. A rarer and more dangerous predator now stalks for the lives of your Campers. As if the fight for survival in the Australian bush wasn't hard enough, they now stumble across a huge specimen of the Drop Bears: Ol’Bruce. His great clawed hands are easily able to grip large prey such as Kangaroos or even humans The group of campers can then decide whether to leave their pitiful colleague in the monster's grip or rescue them. However, this time they have to bring the fight to the monster in order to make it through the night…

Bushland Legend: Ol’Bruce

An ancient bush legend, a fearsome Drop Bear is rumoured to have dwelled in the bush for hundreds of years. A beast that has fed on flesh for decades and grown to titanic size. Ol’Bruce is truly a terror, whilst most people dismiss these stories as drunken tales & urban myth.
 Others, claiming to have escaped the great beast restlessly & worried that their warnings fall on deaf ears and that the legend of Ol’Bruce will claim more lives of innocent campers.

Now available to add to your pledge. Drop bears Expansion: OL'BRUCE! 

Confront and defeat the most terrifying Drop Bear of all: Ol’Bruce. Unfortunately, it seems like the ancient Bear has unique powers: Once the Campers wake him, the night, and therefore the game, will only end by death: Either Ol’Bruce’s or the humans.

To tackle this new threat, Campers can find the unique gear that has special properties for the last stand against Ol’Bruce. They better find it and keep it close. In addition, there is new “regular gear” that can be found in the bush.

Confrontation Tiles, These tiles are placed after Ol'Bruce spawns and give Campers unique ways to attack the beast. Each contains a special task that can be triggered with either a unique utility card or an Endeavour. They are also the only way to harm Ol’Bruce.

Ol’bruce is a monstrously sized predator easily able to reach out with his enormous clawed paws to grab his prey before feeding them into his toothy maw.

So it's getting dark now campers, surly there must be some hope in the bush for us all tonight?
